Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales, Canada is responsible for leading all sales functions nationwide, with a focus on banks, retail chains, and transportation clients. This executive will design and execute the company's go-to-market strategy in Canada, overseeing regional sales teams, building long-term client relationships, and scaling adoption of both traditional services and cutting-edge security technologies. The ideal candidate is an experienced, bilingual (French/English) sales leader with strong expertise in complex B2B solutions, especially those involving technology, physical services, or regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead National Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a national go-to-market plan targeting key sectors—banking, retail, and transportation.
- Team Leadership: Oversee, coach, and grow a high-performing bilingual sales team located across major Canadian markets.
- Client Engagement: Build strong, consultative relationships with executive-level clients across the banking and retail landscape.
- Revenue Growth: Drive aggressive revenue targets by expanding existing relationships and winning new strategic accounts.
- Product Alignment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, marketing, operations, and technology teams) to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Sales Process Optimization: Establish best practices in CRM usage, pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, and contract negotiation.
- Strategic Partnerships: Explore and nurture partner and channel opportunities to expand market reach.
- Executive Reporting: Provide regular reporting and insight to the C-Suite, with a focus on KPIs, market trends, and growth initiatives.
- Cross-Country Coordination: Work in close alignment with other country leaders and the global sales organization to leverage international best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of senior B2B sales leadership experience, ideally in security, cash logistics, fintech, enterprise services, or transportation.
- Proven ability to sell complex integrated solutions (technology + services) to banks and retailers.
- Experienced in leading national sales teams, setting strategy, and executing at scale.
- Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
- Deep knowledge of the Canadian market, including regional business norms and bilingual communication needs.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in contract negotiation, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to attract and retain top talent.
- Comfortable with regular travel across Canada.
