Job Description

  • Install, repair, and service mechanical locks, keys, and door hardware (closers, exit devices, hinges). Work with electronic access control devices (keypads, card readers, electric strikes, magnetic locks).
  • Troubleshoot and maintain automatic door operators and related integrated security systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, providing expert solutions.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and security recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Valid G driver's license (with a clean driving record)
  • Trustworthy, and detail-oriented. Clean criminal background check.
  • Ability to work with various tools & equipment
  • Positive attitude and motivated, mechanically inclined, team player.
  • Strong communication skills, Basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (metal doors & operators)
  • Ability to climb ladder and work above ground
  • Ability to work independently, and receive verbal instructions
  • Complete and submit paperwork on time
  • Industry related certifications an asset
  • After Hours On Call (rotational basis)

Experience in at least 1 of the following skills

  • Locksmith
  • Safes
  • Access Control
  • CCTV
  • Swing Door Operators
  • Automatic Sliding doors
  • Commercial frames and doors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
