Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution services.

Duties

  • Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and timeliness
  • Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues
  • Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times during deliveries

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
  • Good organisational skills to manage routes and schedules effectively
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations is advantageous
