WHAT THE TEAM IS LIKE

Our team is dedicated to supporting the organization's needs through a variety of specialized functions. We focus on recruiting top talent, providing strategic support, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with disability and accommodation requirements. You will be part of a dynamic group that works collaboratively to enhance the overall employee experience.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

This role is designed to help us hire crew for some big bold projects. In addition to directly recruiting, new Crew themselves, the Manager will help us create the comprehensive recruitment project plan and schedule to ensure we can meet hiring demands. They will lead a small team and manage all of the recruitment activities related to the upcoming large-scale, fast-paced major projects.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead and manage the full cycle recruitment activities for major projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring plans and practices are in place to source, screen, and hire 60–70 Crew within 6–8 months.
  • Directly source, recruit and onboard new leaders, and support general recruiting where necessary.
  • Coach, develop, and support the growth of your direct reports.
  • Measure success through recruitment, onboarding, and retention metrics, providing regular updates and tracking progress weekly.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment workflows, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Partner with HRBPs and Total Rewards to accelerate time-to-fill and ensure exceptional candidate experiences and outcomes.
  • Leverage technology and innovative practices to meet deliverables and timelines.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING

  • Post secondary diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required. Additional years of experience in lieu of education may be considered.
  • 6–8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience transforming recruiting processes to align with an organization that is in a phase of growth and change.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including creating detailed plans, tracking deliverables, and reporting weekly progress.
  • Progressive approach to optimize HR technology and applicant tracking software, including ability to use AI in meaningful ways. 
  • Proven ability to lead or coach professional-level employees and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, recruitment marketing, and compliance best practices.
