Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Clerk (Preferably a Student) to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for sales. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring the store is well-merchandised and organized. This role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle transactions efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment through effective merchandising techniques.
  • Engage in upselling opportunities to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within store operating hours.
  • Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with technology products and services is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and inventory management.
