Position Overview

We are seeking a Commercial EV Charger Sales Representative to drive the growth of our new B2B AC commercial charger product line in Canada and the United States. This role will focus on developing strategic customer relationships and driving revenue through direct B2B sales.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, entrepreneurial professional with proven experience in B2B technology, energy, or EV-related sales, capable of managing long sales cycles and complex customer relationships. This position is office-based in our Brampton, ON, location and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand Soneil Spark's presence across commercial and enterprise segments.
  • Identify and acquire new business customers, including dealerships, fleet operators, property developers, and energy solution providers.
  • Present and demonstrate Soneil Spark's AC charging solutions and commercial upgrade packages to key decision-makers and technical teams.
  • Manage the complete sales process from lead generation through to closing and post-sale support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams — including operations, marketing, and technical support — to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Attend trade shows, sales events, and industry conferences to promote the Soneil Spark brand and engage prospective clients.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and feedback on customer needs, competitor offerings, and emerging industry trends.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in energy, EV charging, or electrical equipment industries.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S., including attendance at trade shows and sales events.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated professional who takes initiative and drives results with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of EV infrastructure, clean energy solutions, or commercial electrical systems.
  • Experience managing enterprise or key accounts.
  • Background in technology or industrial equipment sales.
