The
Industrial Control System Lead
is responsible for the control system network standards and security. This position is responsible in coordinating efforts between IT Network and Security and the site controls teams ensuring that Operations is well represented. Additionally, the Lead will be responsible for sustaining and supporting the North America Business (NAB) on Operational Cameras Systems. This position reports to Operations Technology Manager and will be based in USA or Canada.
What Will You Do
- Responsible for the strategic oversight, execution, and continuous improvement of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and IoT security standards across North America.
- Ensures alignment between Corporate IT and site-based Controls and Automation teams, driving consistency, security, and operational excellence across all facilities.
- Provide comprehensive support to all North America site-based Controls and Automation Teams, including long-term planning for control system networks, security, and interface architecture.
- Lead project management efforts as needed to ensure successful execution.
- Manage external contractors involved in control system network enhancements and related activities across the North America Business (NAB), ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
Additional Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities Of The ICS Lead
- Sustain and support the NAB's operational camera systems, ensuring continuous functionality and alignment with security protocols
- Prepare, manage, and optimize the NAB ICS Support Budget, aligning financial planning with strategic initiatives and operational needs.
- Design and implement training programs to build capability and consistency across site-based Controls and Automation Teams.
- Develop and maintain a critical spares strategy for ICS equipment to minimize downtime and support business continuity.
- Manage the lifecycle of critical ICS software across NAB, including licensing, deployment, and version control to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Requirements Of The Role
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, Controls, Computer Science or similar specialty is preferred.
- 5+ years' of experience in Control System required.
- 5+ years' experience Network Architecture and Cybersecurity is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office
- LAN Networking experience is required.
- Network and/or ICS Security Certification is preferred.
- Experiencing managing, leading and coaching direct reports is preferred.
- Full communication skills in English are required: speaking, writing and reading.
- Must be willing to travel
