Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations by managing various administrative tasks and assisting with accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
- Utilize Xero for bookkeeping tasks
- Issuing Purchase Orders, Invoices
- Conduct account analysis and budgeting activities as needed
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and reports
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software Xero is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with budgeting processes is a plus
