Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our busy food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant and food industry settings, with excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth service, maintaining food safety standards, and leading team members to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate team members during your shift to ensure efficient restaurant operations
  • Oversee food preparation, handling, and serving processes to adhere to food safety standards
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs and resolving issues promptly
  • Assist with food service duties, including taking orders, serving, and managing the flow of customers
  • Train new staff members on food safety protocols, service procedures, and company policies
  • Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of the work environment in compliance with health regulations
  • Support inventory management and assist with restocking supplies as needed
  • Lead by example to promote a positive work environment and uphold company standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques
  • Experience in serving or barista roles is a plus
  • Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide team members
  • Hospitality background is advantageous for creating welcoming guest experiences
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and cleanliness requirements

Pay: From $17.35 per hour
