Fiber Optic Technician

Integrated Solutions is seeking experienced Fiber Telecommunications Technicians to join our team as full-time employees. Candidates must provide their own dependable personal vehicle for daily work-related travel. This role offers full-time employment with a competitive piece-rate compensation structure. Vehicle-related expenses may be tax-deductible.
Applicable skills and experience:
- Hands-on fiber installation, splicing, or troubleshooting experience.
- Strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to integrate with the team and work collaboratively.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Possess a Mobile Device for organization, communication, and work-related tools.
- Comfortable using desktops, mobile devices, apps, and willing to learn new systems.
- Ability to upload photos and documentation to work orders/invoices.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
- Experience in telecommunications or related technical fields.
Additionally, the right applicant will require:
- A personal vehicle.
- Completion of online training and certification during the training period.
- Physical ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Clean Criminal Record Check.
- Ability to track mileage and keep records for tax purposes (T2200 provided if required).
Benefits:

- Technicians using their personal vehicle may be eligible for tax deductions on work-related vehicle expenses such as fuel, insurance, and maintenance.
During the training period, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of our systems, fiber installation processes, and quality standards. You will be paid an hourly rate during training. Once training is complete and management determines you are ready for field work, you will transition to our piece-rate compensation model.
Hours of Operation:
Schedules typically run Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday. Alternative schedules may be considered for the right candidate.
