Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food handling, food preparation, maintaining all stock areas, walk-in, freezer, stockroom

Duties:

  • Support kitchen staff
  • Assist in food handling procedures and processing, following food safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
  • Basic food preparation peeling, cutting, portioning food product

-Accepting orders and re-stocking

- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, food industry, or food service setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic meal and food preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Understanding of food safety practices and guidelines
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
