Information Systems Specialist

LOCATION: REGINA, SK (HEAD OFFICE)

This position is based on-site at our Regina Head Office location.

Responsibilities:

· Analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating technology issues for our internal clients

· Provide level 1 and 2 application support for our Trimble Transportation Management System across 11 locations utilizing remote connection

· Work with Corporate IT for Level 3 support

· Build and maintain and enhance Business Intelligence reports for all systems using the appropriate tools (SQL, Crystal Reports, Excel)

· Maintain and configure EDI with customers

· Administer and manage company's IBC Phone Systems

· Procurement - Develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers, Identify the information Systems and hardware needs of the company and source supplies for inventory

· Coordinate and manage the deployment of system upgrades, as well as the implementation of new IT systems and services

Qualifications:

· University or College Diploma in Computer Science.

· At least 1-2 year helpdesk related work experience and/or a technical certificate

· Strong working knowledge and experience of SQL and Crystal Reports

· EDI experience

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills a must

· Previous experience in the trucking/transportation industry an asset

· Previous experience using TruckMate and Document Imaging Software applications would be an asset

· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to other branches as needed
