Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed at all times.
  • Assist customers with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in food preparation and customer service.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential.

Valid SIR required.

  • Customer service experience is highly valued, particularly in hospitality settings.
  • Barista experience is a plus for those interested in beverage preparation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
