Senior Product Manager
We have an opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to join our Products team, reporting to a VP in Product Management. This role will be in our Burnaby office. In this role, you will set strategy, define roadmap, and ensure successful delivery of Infoblox DDI solutions with a focus on the DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) services delivery and management. Specific products include, but are not limited to, Universal DDI Management and NIOS-XaaS. You will conduct market research; interact with customers, the sales teams, and partners; prioritize use cases; define requirements to Engineering; and enable cross-functional teams for go-to-market (GTM) activities. This role provides the unique opportunity to not just doing something great, but something extraordinary, as you will be influencing the future of network services management by building on the strategy of the industry's only SaaS based Enterprise DDI solution.
In this exciting and rapidly evolving area of SaaS and hybrid multi-cloud, you will be instrumental in introducing networking services solutions that will shape the market and the company direction. You'll be in the unique position of using technical and social skills while meeting with customers and working with a wide range of company functional groups as you translate problems into solutions. The Infoblox product management team is a fun, helpful, bright, creative group respected in the industry and relied on heavily for direction and strategy.
Be a Contributor — What You'll Do
- Define and execute roadmap and life cycle of Universal DDI Management
- Develop subject matter expertise in the area of public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, …) as they relate to network services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM, …)
- Develop subject matter expertise in network services protocols (e.g. DNS, DoT/DoH, DHCP, NTP) and apply to Infoblox solutions to differentiate in the market.
- Specify requirements for current and future cloud integrations by conducting research supported by on-going, intimate knowledge of existing customers, partners, and competitors
- Work closely with engineering to gain roadmap commitment, ensure margin objectives are met and provide a great user experience
- Develop GTM plans and deliverables, such as customer/partner NDA presentations, technology overviews, sales training, FAQs, and white papers, aimed at gaining market share and hitting revenue targets; and then work with relevant teams to execute the plans
- Drive market analysis, product strategy and definition, competitive analysis, partner interaction and customer management associated with our products
- Develop business cases for new concepts, such as opportunity size, financial impact, market share, cost of sales, and profitability expectations
- Participate, contribute and represent core DDI in Customer Programs such as Early Access Program (EAP), Customer Advisory Board (CAB), and Technical Advisory Board (TAB)
Be Prepared — What You Bring
- 8+ years of related experience
- 2+ years of product management experience and a strong customer-facing background
- Strong experience with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platforms)
- Experience with SaaS managed solutions
- Familiarity of network service protocols (DNS, DHCP, SSH/SCP, REST, syslog, DNSTAP)
- Familiarity with the major orchestration players in the field of Data Center automation (Ansible, Terraform, ServiceNow)
- Experience with different virtualization environments including Nutanix, OpenShift, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM and OpenStack
- Ability to capture and articulate customer problems and translate those into product strategy and requirements
- Ability to lead internal cross-functional teams to successfully deliver features
- Demonstrated success in managing relationships with partners, customers, and sales teams, particularly in difficult or challenging situations

- Influence the roadmap for Universal DDI Management and NIOS.
- Be on point for Universal DDI product discussions with customers in the Americas.
- Lead sales presentations and overviews on Infoblox DDI products
One Year:
- Influence the direction of all DDI management and services roadmap for the entire Infoblox product line.
- Have the experience to define SaaS specific features related to continuous delivery, instrumentation to collect and report on customer usage, and AI/ML.
