Asset Management Coordinator

Thompson Construction Group is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to support our Maintenance Department from our Spruce Grove facility and across work site locations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate fleet service and maintenance records, supporting service and maintenance teams, and ensuring the effective use of maintenance applications and tools. The Asset Management Coordinator works closely with the Fleet Manager, Service Superintendent, and other departments to keep equipment available, safe, and compliant.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update fleet service and maintenance records in B2W Maintain
- Monitor fleet utilization and update availability reports
- Establish and maintain quality controls, electronic record keeping, and maintenance procedures related to inspections, service, and repairs
- Support the Fleet Manager and Service Superintendent in planning and coordinating maintenance activities
- Provision user access and provide desktop and mobile application support for maintenance systems
- Assist with the rollout of fleet service and maintenance initiatives
- Ensure accuracy and organization of documentation to support efficient decision-making
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure timely communication and workflow
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education or High School Diploma with progressive related experience in equipment maintenance or application/desktop support
- Knowledge of heavy equipment, machinery, and parts is an asset
- Experience with B2W Maintain or similar maintenance systems is considered an asset
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and mobile/web-based applications
- Logical problem-solving and troubleshooting ability with focus on practical solutions
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities
- Detail-oriented self-starter who can adapt to changing environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and management levels
- Commitment to accuracy, task completion, and effective teamwork
