As a Centre Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Centre Director in managing day-to-day operations, including overseeing financials, curriculum and programming, scheduling, teacher training, the administration of assessments, and conferencing with parents. This role also involves ensuring the centre is well-maintained and fostering a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment. Additionally, if needed, the Centre Coordinator may step in to provide tutoring support.

- Successful background in education and/or sales, with a strong focus on client relationships
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- A passion for working with students of all ages

Centre Growth Responsibilities
- Handle new inquiries, assessments, enrolments, and conferences with parents
- Meet goals established with the Centre Director
- Collaborate with school teachers and educational professionals to support student learning and progress
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with teachers, educational specialists, school administrators, parent/teacher organizations, case managers, and community contacts
- Plan and organize events to engage the community and enhance the centre's presence
- Create and organize events within the centre to engage and motivate students.
- Monitor daily business operations
Staff Management Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and uphold staff morale and ensure the professional appearance of the centre
- Interview, hire, and train new staff according to Scholars teaching methodologies
- Conduct staff performance reviews
- Facilitate staff meetings and workshops to ensure consistency in teaching practices
Customer Service, Curriculum and Centre Upkeep Responsibilities
- Keep parents informed about student progress and conduct regular conferences
- Write and recommend goal-based programs, and monitor programs for progress
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming centre, including basic cleaning duties.
- Create a positive learning environment in the centre for staff, students, and parents
- Oversee and schedule student programs
- Anticipate and be responsive to the needs and expectations of clients, including parents, students, and case managers, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
- Tutor students as needed
- Take responsibility for understanding, managing and meeting client needs and expectations
Additional Responsibilities:
- Track and report on student progress, ensuring that goals are being met and adjustments are made to programs when necessary
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise between students, staff, or parents, maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere
- Assist with centre marketing efforts, including promoting programs and special events
- Manage and create content for social media platforms to engage with the community and attract new students
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools and community organizations to increase visibility and referrals
- Support the execution of marketing strategies to drive enrolments
The duties outlined are all possible aspects of the role, though not all will be required to be performed at the same time.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 1:00 - 8:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
