Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance, including mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial for maintaining equipment reliability and safety standards while overseeing maintenance projects and team performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the upkeep of the Hotel Building as a whole.
- Performs quality preventative maintenance of all guest rooms and common areas. Including plumbing, painting and etc.
- Organize qualified vendors for semi-annual and annual building inspections such as Fire, Sprinkler System, Hood, Elevator, Boilers, Generator. Keep a record of all the inspections and deficiencies to keep the property up to code.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution and compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Keep a record of of all service requests and incident reports.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics, repairs, and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (provincial and federal) related to safety (building & fire code requirements), environmental impact (health and life safety programs), and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications and Skills
Education:
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience preferably in a hotel or residential complex.
- Solid mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, particularly in HVAC systems and low voltage applications. Tickets preferred
- Hands on experience with trouble shooting.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to work all shifts including weekends and statutory holidays.
Experience:
- Previous experience is a must. Proven management skills with experience in supervising a diverse team in a Hotel Building environment.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong project management capabilities, with a focus on delivering results within set timelines.
- Focus on solving conflicts, maintains confidentiality.
- Remain opens to others' ideas and tries new things.
- Excellent command of English for clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
