Our people are our number one asset and together we are working towards achieving our vision to be the most trusted, most operationally excellent integrated waste provider in North America.  Join us and become a part of the Miller Waste team and be a part of something great, where you can make a difference.Summary:A Roll-Off DZ Driver operates specialized trucks equipped to haul large, open-top containers (roll-off containers) used for waste and recyclable materials. Their duties include loading and unloading containers, transporting them to disposal or recycling facilities, and maintaining the vehicle, while adhering to safety and traffic regulations.Responsibilities:In the position of Roll-Off DZ Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Must comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures, as well as York Region Policies and ISO 14001 and 9001.Operating of a Roll Off Truck.Communicating with Site Staff and Supervisor regarding bin lift requirements.Physically fit is an asset to safely push and pull various sizes items. Unlocking and locking of containers and enclosures/rooms.Must demonstrate excellent customer services skills. Meeting or exceeding performance expectations, through proven results.Maintaining the cleanliness of the truck and bin areas.Spotting customers and Yard Cleaning on site occasionally.Requirements:Must have a DZ Driver's Licence.Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR is highly preferred.Organizational skills should be exceptional.A minimum of 1 year of Roll Off experience is an asset. Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.Flexibility and work schedule should coincide with necessary start and end times. Working Weekends is a Must.Effective written and verbal communication skills are preferred.Must maintain excellent attendance and performance record.
