Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision, consistency, and enthusiasm, ensuring each dish meets quality standards.
  • Assist with food plating and presentation to create visually appealing meals that enhance the dining experience.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new ideas and refining existing recipes based on customer feedback.
  • Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently.
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures during cooking, storage, and service to ensure freshness and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy hours while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant or culinary setting.
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques across different cuisines.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
  • Experience working in fine dining or catering environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and service excellence.
  • Prior experience in dietary departments or with dietary aide roles is a plus but not required. Pay: $17.20-$28.00 per hour
