JOB SUMMARY
The Strategic Projects Office (SPO) provides project leadership on initiatives that advance corporate and Council priorities, as well as emerging issues and opportunities at a strategic level. The SPO serves are a project leader, supporting projects through strategic guidance, execution expertise, and accountability for outcomes. The SPO delivers coordinated, partner-driven approaches across large-scale, high-profile and transformational initiatives comprising multiple departments and stakeholders.
As Business Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the SPO's performance measurement and reporting processes. Beyond traditional analysis, you will:
Help define what we measure, how we measure it, and how performance information is used;
Support the implementation of performance measurement frameworks, ensuring that the foundation for data-driven decision-making is in place across our client organizations; and
Provide project management services for assigned projects related to business improvement and performance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 4 year university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business process review, performance measures and evaluation, conducting comprehensive research, analysis/auditing/reporting.
KNOWLEDGE
- Possess general knowledge of the Corporation, departmental business requirements, policies and legislation related to the department
