We are seeking a reliable and motivated Store Supervisor to support daily operations and help lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on retail experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to guide staff while maintaining a positive, productive store environment.

Duties

  • Support the Store Manager in leading, training, and motivating staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cashier functions, and maintaining store standards.
  • Provide direction to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and customer needs are met.
  • Help coordinate staff schedules and communicate daily priorities.
  • Assist with interviewing and onboarding new employees as needed.
  • Support inventory-related tasks such as receiving, stocking, rotation, and conducting stock counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
  • Use POS systems accurately for transactions, voids, returns, and reporting.
  • Communicate operational concerns, staff issues, and customer feedback to store management.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience required; supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of cashiering procedures and POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide guidance to staff and support the manager with scheduling and task delegation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional phone etiquette and a customer-first attitude.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle issues independently when needed.
