Industry leader in precision aerial application. Western Aerial Applications is a general charter VFR Helicopter operator with it's own AMO for the maintenance of our fleet. We operate a diverse fleet including Bell 206 and 212, Airbus AS350 B2 and B3, and Hiller UH12E and UH12E/T.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Quality Assurance Professional located in Chilliwack, BC. The Quality Assurance Professional will report to the Director of Maintenance and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance within the air operation and the AMO. The role includes ensuring compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations and other regulatory standards, implementing quality improvement initiatives, conducting internal audits, working with external auditors, assisting stores where required, other duties as directed by the Director of Maintenance. The ability to give and receive constructive feedback with the goal of continuous improvement is mandatory.

This role is also open to AME's who would like a mix of hands on hangar / field time and Quality Assurance work, who are ready for the challenge of developing more skills in the office environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR's)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Experience in the manufacturing or aerospace industry is a plus
