Medicine Hat College's School of Arts, Science and Education invite applications for an in-person Full-Time, Term-Certain Instructor in our University Transfer, Science Department for the Winter 2026 semester. This Position will commence January 2, 2026.

A little about the role:

The primary workload will include instructing courses in person. The successful candidate will also be required to engage in a variety of professional responsibilities and contribute to a collaborative environment that fosters the mission of the College and the success of our students. This position requires passion and commitment to learners, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team. The successful candidate may instruct lectures and/or labs in General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry courses.

  • Master's degree in science, Chemistry – minimum requirement
  • Post-Secondary teaching experience is an asset

  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
