Duties

  • Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
  • Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
  • Perform dry cleaning tasks for delicate or special items using appropriate solvents and techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies to uphold safety standards
  • Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
  • Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric care to preserve item quality
  • Assist with general cleaning duties around the hotel to support overall sanitation efforts

Requirements

  • Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens and garments meet cleanliness standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures related to handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
