Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated junior Cyber Security Specialist to join our growing team. Based in Montreal, Toronto, or New York, and reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity. In this critical role, you will play a key part in maturing and enhancing Sagard's cyber security posture. You will be hands-on, managing platforms, driving initial SOC response, and implementing ongoing security initiatives across a range of security domains. This role requires a good technical foundation combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Implement solutions/tasks/components that advance critical cyber security projects and enhance the overall security program.
- Support and implement security operations and IT cloud service infrastructure projects, focusing on incident response, and security technology modernization.
- Develop, enhance, install, configure, and maintain specialized cyber security and cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., incident response solutions, infrastructure modernization, vulnerability management, identity and access management).
- Support and implement Data Loss Prevention policies and technology.
- Support and implement Computer Forensics capabilities for risk mitigation, investigation, and incident response.
- Support IT Operations on cyber-adjacent projects, such as PAM and MDM.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization to promote security awareness and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
Requirements:- 2-5+ years of proven experience in a cyber security role or equivalent education, with a strong background in technical security domains.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security solutions, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
- Experience with cloud security (eg: AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience in handling security incidents.
- Experience with evaluation of application security and mitigation/correction and best practices around vulnerabilities/threats.
- Experience in scripting and automation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CNDA, GPEN, OSCP, CEH) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work from one of our office locations

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) analyste junior en cybersécurité hautement motivé(e) pour rejoindre notre équipe en pleine croissance. Ce poste, basé à Montréal, Toronto ou New York, relève du Directeur de la cybersécurité.
Dans ce rôle essentiel, vous contribuerez activement à renforcer et à faire évoluer la posture de cybersécurité de Sagard. Vous serez impliqué(e) directement dans la gestion des plateformes, la réponse initiale du SOC, ainsi que la mise en œuvre d'initiatives de sécurité à travers différents domaines. Ce poste requiert une solide base technique, jumelée à d'excellentes aptitudes en communication et en collaboration.
Responsabilités :
- Mettre en œuvre des solutions, tâches ou composantes qui font progresser les projets clés de cybersécurité et améliorent le programme global de sécurité.
- Soutenir et déployer des projets d'opérations de sécurité et d'infrastructure infonuagique TI, en mettant l'accent sur la réponse aux incidents et la modernisation des technologies de sécurité.
- Développer, améliorer, installer, configurer et maintenir des solutions spécialisées de cybersécurité et d'infrastructure infonuagique (ex. : solutions de réponse aux incidents, modernisation de l'infrastructure, gestion des vulnérabilités, gestion des identités et des accès).
- Soutenir et mettre en œuvre les politiques et technologies de prévention des pertes de données (Data Loss Prevention).
- Soutenir et développer les capacités de criminalistique informatique (Computer Forensics) pour la gestion des risques, les enquêtes et la réponse aux incidents.
- Collaborer avec les équipes TI sur des projets connexes à la cybersécurité, tels que la gestion des accès privilégiés (PAM) et la gestion des appareils mobiles (MDM).
- Collaborer efficacement avec différents intervenants à travers l'organisation pour promouvoir la sensibilisation à la sécurité et les meilleures pratiques.
- Se tenir informé(e) des menaces émergentes, des vulnérabilités et des pratiques exemplaires en cybersécurité.
Qualifications :- 2 à 5+ années d'expérience avérée dans un rôle en cybersécurité ou formation équivalente, avec une solide expérience dans les domaines techniques de la sécurité.
- Expérience pratique avec des technologies de sécurité telles que les pare-feu, les systèmes de détection/prévention d'intrusion, les solutions de sécurité des terminaux, les systèmes SIEM et les analyseurs de vulnérabilités.
- Expérience en sécurité infonuagique (ex. : AWS, Azure, GCP) et en protection des infrastructures hébergées dans le cloud.
- Expérience dans la gestion d'incidents de sécurité.
- Expérience dans l'évaluation de la sécurité des applications, la correction et l'atténuation des vulnérabilités et menaces.
- Expérience en script et automatisation.
- Excellentes compétences en communication, en relations interpersonnelles et en présentation, avec la capacité d'expliquer des informations techniques complexes à différents publics.
- Solides aptitudes analytiques et en résolution de problèmes.
