Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Markham, ON.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare year-end working paper files for review, including NTR and Review engagements
  • Assist with audit/review fieldwork and documentation
  • Prepare corporate, personal, and trust tax returns
  • Communicate with clients to obtain required information and resolve inquiries
  • Support junior staff and managers with ad-hoc projects and engagements
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with firm standards and professional guidelines

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in a public accounting practice (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Working toward a CPA designation (asset).
  • Good working knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, and Canadian tax
  • Proficiency with CaseWare, CaseView, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
