Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager, Transportation Engineering to join our Toronto West office. This senior leadership role is ideal for an accomplished professional with a strong record in road and transit projects across Ontario, including Environmental Assessments, design, transportation planning, and traffic engineering.

As a core member of our practice, you will drive project delivery excellence, strategic business development, and high-level client engagement. You'll also play a key role in guiding teams, representing Arcadis with major stakeholders, and advancing innovative, sustainable transportation solutions.

Role accountabilities:

• Lead large-scale transportation infrastructure projects, including Environmental Assessments, TPAP, and complex corridor studies.
• Act as the primary client liaison, managing key accounts and long-term relationships.
• Oversee and mentor multidisciplinary teams, ensuring staff development and high performance.
• Provide senior technical review and approval of design drawings, technical reports, and proposals.
• Drive business development initiatives and contribute to securing major project opportunities.
• Manage project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
• Champion the adoption of digital tools and best practices in project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience and at least 7 years in project management.
• P.Eng. (eligible for PEO membership) required.
• Extensive experience with MTO, Region of Peel, York Region, and Halton Region projects.
• Proven expertise in roadway and transit preliminary/detailed design and traffic management.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, and Civil3D.
• Advanced communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client engagement in the GTHA market.

The salary range for this position is $89,600 - $178,100 The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
