Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and equipment used in snow removal and maintenance tasks.

Duties

  • Operate snow plow trucks and other equipment to clear snow from roads, parking lots, and walkways.
  • Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including checks on hydraulic systems, blades, and other mechanical components.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of snow removal operations while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or snow plows is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance and construction tasks.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
