Labourer, Site Services

About Your New Role
Reporting to the Supervisor, Site Services, the Labourer, Site Services, will be responsible for completing manual labour activities around site. You will be required to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Remove trash and drop at waste management facilities.
- Unload planes and other incoming freight.
- Perform daily surface pump checks.
- Tailings and reclaim line insulating and maintenance.
- Complete projects within allotted period.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Ensure all work is done in a safe and efficient manner.
- Any other duties as assigned by the department.
Your Knowledge And Skills
- Ability to understand spoken and written instructions.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to use electric and air power tools.
- Ability to work closely with others.
- Mental awareness to be able to work around potential hazards.
- Able to work in conditions of extreme cold or heat.
- Must have knowledge to use MSDS information sheets.
Your Education And Experience
- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Previous related experience, preferably working in a remote fly-in campsite.
About Our Working Conditions
This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 11-hour days with possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion. You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
