Engineering Manager 2
in our Toronto hub, you will lead a dynamic team, drive AI-powered projects, and contribute to our mission of accelerating small businesses' velocity through intelligent solutions. Be a part of a forward-thinking company that values rapid iteration and deep customer engagement.
These are the key ways you'll contribute and create impact in this role:
- Oversee a team of software engineers, providing guidance and mentorship while fostering an environment that encourages innovation and high standards.
- Drive the development and implementation of strategic AI systems that align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Foster AI fluency within your team, encouraging the continuous exploration and implementation of AI tools and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for team projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery of solutions.
- Ensure compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards within all engineering practices.
The Foundation for Success
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
- Experience leading AI projects and initiatives is a strong plus.
