This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your role
As a developer, join the Streaming team, whose primary responsibility is to maintain and evolve the audio-video streaming platform used by our applications such as TOU.TV, Gem, OHdio, and radio- As a member of this team, you will participate in the development and implementation of new high-value-added features, as well as the modernization of the current platform by applying the best industry practices in software development.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Participate in the analysis and development of the solution's code.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Participate in the development of backlog stories.
• Participate and contribute to agile ceremonies (retrospectives, scrums, groomings).
• Participate in the solution's deployments.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following profile:

• College or university diploma
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent command of C#
• Excellent command of ASP.NET Core and Web API
• Excellent command of REST API principles
• Excellent knowledge of MongoDB and Redis
• Knowledge of MS SQL an asset
• Good command of Git
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud an asset
• Knowledge of audio and video codecs H.264, AAC, AV1, H.265, AAC, MP3 an asset
• Knowledge of MP4, MP3 media containers an asset
• Knowledge of Dash, HLS, and Progressive Smooth streaming technology an asset
• Knowledge of microservice architectures an asset
• Rigor, autonomy, proactivity, and resourcefulness
• Fluency in French and functional knowledge of written and spoken English an asset
