INSPECTOR/SORTER/QUALITY CONTROL

As a Sorter/Inspector/Quality Assurance (General Labourer), you will have a key role in preparing merchandise for sale on our site. This full-time position involves lifting, inspecting, sorting and counting all kinds of products, as well as cleaning and testing items. You will also be arranging and displaying items for photographs and you will learn about how to stage an on-line listing.

Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills, have physical stamina and the ability to quickly learn new skills, and follow instructions. Physical lifting (up to ~ 15 kg) is required, as well as moving pallets around the warehouse using a pump truck.

Maxx offers a 4 day, 40-hour workweek, 8am - 6:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8am - 7:30 on Wednesdays, and 8am - 5:30pm on Fridays, with a $23.21/hr starting wage and potential wage increases every 3 months. We provide a comprehensive Benefits Plan that covers Dental, Vision, Prescription, Life Insurance, etc. and we also offer a profit-sharing plan.

Your Qualifications

· High school diploma.

· 1-3 years or more of experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a warehouse environment.

· Candidates must be positive, reliable, conscientious and hard-working.

· Team player with a positive 'can do' attitude.

· Strong communication skills (oral and written) are required; language is English.

· Candidates must be able to lift boxes and items up to 15 kg in weight.
