Mandatory Requirements
A University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of demonstrated IM/IT experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining health applications for the Regional Health Authority and/or Department of Health in a Canadian Provincial jurisdiction.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years demonstrated experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) including the creation of SSIS packages.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English.

Scored Requirement:

  • Demonstrated experience in the last 5 years, working as a Senior Programmer/SQL Developer on a health analytics or health reporting database system for Regional Health Authorities and/or Department of Health in a Canadian Provincial jurisdiction;
  • 10 Years - Demonstrated experience with relational database systems including SQL Server (version 2012 or later);
  • 8 Years - Demonstrated experience maintaining and developing SQL Server databases, tables, views, queries, functions, stored procedures, indexes, scheduled jobs, triggers, packages, and performance tuning for SQL Server implementations;
  • 10 years - Demonstrated experience with Enterprise BI or other analytic/data warehouse technology (preference given to Power BI administration);
  • 5 Years - Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying SSRS reports and/or PowerBI dashboards.
  • 8 Years - Demonstrated experience in developing and managing the implementation of technical solutions in an operational environment.
  • 8 Years - Demonstrated experience in architecture where multiple systems and domains need be considered from an enterprise view.
  • 3 Years - Demonstrated experience with Cognos/Impromptu.
