Job Description
- Handle all procurement activities from ingredients to packaging for 2 manufacturing plants in Vaughan and Mississauga
- Manage and Lead one direct Report
- Reporting to VP Operations
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure competitive pricing, reliable delivery, and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to maintain optimal stock and avoid shortages or overages.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee procurement processes, documentation, and vendor audits to support efficient, compliant, and transparent operations.
Must Haves:
- Procurement experience in food industry is an asset
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Team management skills
What's in for you
- Monday to Friday onsite between Vaughan and Mississauga Plant
- Salary: $85,000- $100,000 annually
