We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sushi Roller to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and an understanding of sushi-making techniques. As a Sushi Roller, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality sushi rolls that meet our standards for presentation and taste, while ensuring adherence to food safety protocols.

Duties

• Prepare and roll sushi using fresh ingredients, including fish, vegetables, and rice.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area.
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency in product quality.
• Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Provide excellent service by engaging with customers when necessary, ensuring their satisfaction with the meal.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods related to sushi is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
• Experience in meal preparation within the food industry is a plus.
