At 410 Truck Repair, we specialize in reliable, high-quality repairs and maintenance for heavy trucks and trailers. Located in Brampton, we're known for accurate diagnostics, honest work, and fast turnaround times. As our workload grows, we're looking for 2-3 skilled Truck & Coach / Heavy Duty Technician – Diagnostic Specialist to join our team.
Position Summary
We're seeking 2-3 hands-on, highly capable technician who enjoys diagnosing and repairing complex problems in trucks and trailers. This is not an entry-level role – we need someone who is confident in their skills, understands the full range of truck systems, and can work independently without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems on heavy trucks and trailers.
Use OEM diagnostic tools to perform system checks and pinpoint issues efficiently.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and repair manuals.
Perform preventative maintenance and detailed inspections.
Work with the service team to ensure accurate repair timelines and clear communication with customers.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Qualifications
2–3+ years hands-on experience in truck/coach or heavy-duty repair.
Strong understanding of truck systems and sub-systems (engine, transmission, suspension, braking, electrical, etc.).
Experience using OEM diagnostic tools (e.g., Cummins Insite, Detroit Diesel, Navistar, etc.) is a strong asset.
Ability to read and interpret wiring and circuit diagrams confidently.
Strong knowledge of wiring systems, sensors, control modules, and other electronic components.
310T Truck & Coach Technician license (required).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and take initiative.
