THE OPPORTUNITY

Omicron seeks a Project Architect to lead production of technical documentation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading individual project teams and coordinating with others in a multi-disciplinary team. Omicron values experience with design-build or Construction Management projects as well as diversity in your portfolio of work.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Post-secondary education in Architecture and registered or eligible for registration with the AIBC
  • 10 years' work experience
  • Must be comfortable working in Revit
  • High level of familiarity with BCBC and VBBL
  • Comfortable working as project lead through all phases of the project and engaging directly with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Experience working with both private and public sector client groups is an asset
  • Adept at problem solving and collaboration
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams at both design and construction stages
  • Comfortable supervising staff in all areas of practice as Architect of Record
  • Preference for candidates with LEED / Passivhaus / Zero-Carbon building experience.
  • Preference for experience with design-build or construction management projects
