Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various trades, including carpentry and roofing. This role involves working on diverse projects that require technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of construction, renovation, and manufacturing tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards, as well as managing day to day operations.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution
  • Install flooring, tile, siding, cabinets, and other building components using hand tools and power tools
  • Conduct roofing repairs or installations, including caulking and siding applications
  • Execute restoration projects involving carpentry, woodworking, or general maintenance person repairs
  • Lift heavy materials safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry and roofing
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as necessary
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and manufacturing environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements
  • Ability to supervise multiple team members
