As a Florist, you will be responsible for arranging and taking care of floral displays, bouquets, and arrangements for various occasions. The ideal candidate should be able to work well in fast-paced environments, be attentive to detail and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Floral Design: Create floral arrangements for various occasions

Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting appropriate flowers and arrangements based on their preferences and the occasion. Provide knowledgeable advice on flower care and maintenance. Handling orders via person, phone or online.

Floral Care: Monitor and manage floral inventory, ensuring fresh and high-quality flowers are always available. Prep flowers as needed.

Maintaining Shop Appearance: Keep the floral shop clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing. Ensure that displays and arrangements are regularly updated.

Event Setup: Assist with the setup of floral arrangements for events, including weddings and funerals. Ensure timely arrangements to clients.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including florist, receptionist and delivery personnel, to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction.

Requirements

A high school diploma is required.

Fluent in English speaking and writing

Proven experience as a Florist *** Minimum 2 years FLORIST experience

Basic skills in Microsoft Office word and excel

Attention to detail and precision.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, and able to handle lots of standing

Salary: $18.56-$24.26 per hour based on experience and skills

Expected hours: over 20 hours per week, will be increased when busy occasions.
