Vaughan, Ontario, Canada A Time To Heal: Psychotherapy | Trauma | Neurofeedback Full time $60,000 - $180,000 per year

Inner Summits Vaughan & Richmond Hill is a boutique therapy center focused on trauma-informed, neurobiologically-based psychotherapy approaches. We are expanding once again and looking to hire experienced therapists who wish to grow their expertise beyond mainstream approaches.

We're looking for like-minded therapists who want to provide psychotherapy that goes beyond "just talk" Our vision for healing is not about advice giving and mere exchange of insight... we hold strongly to the idea that healing is neither written within a formula nor does it always happen in words.

Our approach is informed by the following modalities: EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness & Breathwork, Phase-Oriented Trauma-Informed Care, IFS, Neurofeedback & NOSC Integration Therapy.

Compensation:

  • $125 per direct client hour
  • Weekly or biweekly case consultation
  • Monthly seminars and learning opportunities
  • Comprehensive training and experiential teaching in integrative psychotherapy approaches, including EMDR, IFS and Somatic Psychotherapy

Responsibilities:

  • Client intakes and assessments
  • Psychotherapy services
  • Record keeping
  • Regular participation in continuing education

Requirements:

  • Registered with CRPO or OCSWSSW
  • Valid professional liability insurance
  • Availability to offer minimum 2 full days of in-person therapy per week at our office in Vaughan hours total)
  • Minimum of 3 years of psychotherapy experience
  • Willing to complete 60 hours of provided trauma training within 6 months of hiring (or possess equivalent)
  • Willing to attend weekly/biweekly clinical consultations

Qualifications:

  • A compassionate presence and ability to be with people's pain
  • A capacity to navigate sitting with narratives of trauma from a compassionate and resourced stance.
  • A passion and commitment for learning and continuing education
  • Training in EMDR, IFS or Somatic therapy or willingness to become trained
  • Previous experience in trauma-informed psychotherapy, front-line mental health work and training in trauma treatment models, EMDR, IFS, and/ or somatic therapy is a strong asset
