Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Fire Extinguisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess strong mechanical knowledge and able to provide essential support to our customers in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools. The technician will play a vital role in maintaining equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service. There is the opportunity to advance in the company by obtaining trade skills to become a fully certified technician in our company. No Previous experience is required. Training is provided. Raises are issued upon completion of essential courses.

Responsibilities

  • Test and repair fire extinguishers to current NFPA standards.
  • Install, test and repair Kitchen Suppression Systems to Current NFPA Standards
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assigned duties.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are accounted for.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
  • Travel to Yukon communities with mobile unit to service equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with clients.
  • Efficient hand writing and math skills.
  • Proficient in English language skill oral and written.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
