What You'll Be Doing
Global Money Operations (GMO) provides back office support for Payment Product Services, FX/MM settlement, and Investigation capabilities for corporate, government and institutional clients around the world. As a Sanctions & Transactions Monitoring Specialist, you will be accountable for the timely and accurate processing, analysis, and flow of all incoming and outgoing wires (SWIFT and non-SWIFT), subject to L1 sanctions review as well as being accountable for payment exception transaction monitoring and processing. You will also identify, analyze and conduct investigations of transactions through additional verification steps, and reporting mechanisms.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. The successful candidate will need to be available to work between 7am - 8pm.
Due to the nature of this role, a criminal record check will need to be completed at least annually for the purpose of enhanced screening.
