Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and hospitality, ensuring that our guests feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment they arrive. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and assisting servers in maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. Experience is great but more importantly we are looking for bubbly and energetic people to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
  • Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize flow.
  • Assist servers by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and delivering food items as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including resetting tables for the next guests.
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
  • Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and processing as required.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality and food service throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

  • Previous 1-3 years of experience in hosting is required with a focus on guest services and hospitality.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when taking reservations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to assist team members in various tasks as needed.
  • Experience in hotel settings can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
