Job Overview

Our Client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Advisor to join Their team. . The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on tax planning, compliance, and reporting, ensuring clients optimize their financial strategies while adhering to regulatory standards. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse clients, including individuals and businesses, utilizing advanced accounting and tax software to deliver accurate and timely services. this is a permanent position

Duties

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships using accounting software such as DT MAX, TAXPREP, etc...
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and data to identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Assist clients with audits by providing documentation support and explanations of financial records.
• Manage accounts payable, account reconciliation, and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to advise clients effectively.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored tax strategies that align with their financial goals.

Skills

• Perfectly Bilingual(French and English)
• Proficiency in accounting software such as DTMAX, TAXPREP etc..
• Strong analysis skills for interpreting complex financial data.
• Experience in preparation of T1,T2 and T3 ( minimum 4-5 years in a firm)
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including accounts payable, account reconciliation, payroll, and budgeting.
• Very Good Knowledge of Canadian income taxes
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for explaining technical financial information clearly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
