The Opportunity
The recruiting team at Moment Energy is finding talent that will help us with our mission to enable all retired EV batteries to be repurposed by 2030, to provide worldwide access to clean, affordable, and reliable power
This role partners closely with the engineering team and leadership to identify and attract exceptional candidates. Our recruiting team supports mechanical, electrical, power electronics firmware, software development, and battery engineering teams . We are looking for someone with a strong technical aptitude, exceptional verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced start up environment.
The Role

$70,000 - $90,000 CAD per year - Location:
In-person, Moment Energy Coquitlam Office - Benefits:
- 3 weeks paid vacation plus 1 week off between Christmas and New Year's

Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop robust candidate pipelines with top engineers, especially passive candidates with industry experience.
- Support with candidate communication and initial interview scheduling
- Develop strong working relationships with recruiting team, business leaders, and hiring managers
- Maintain a strong understanding of all recruiting processes in an environment that frequently changes
- Focus on providing a positive candidate experience at every opportunity
- Improve recruiting process consistency, speed, and quality.
The Candidate
We're looking for individuals with the following traits, skills, and experiences:
- 2 years of technical recruiting experience with a track record of hiring top-tier engineers.
- Experience at an early-stage, high-growth company, ideally in manufacturing environments.
- Success recruiting electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other hiring platforms.
- Strong technical acumen; you can quickly understand and communicate complex engineering roles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with both candidates and hiring teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a recruiting team.
