Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register, including cash handling and credit card processing.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer engagement.
  • Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing assistance as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills is essential for accurate transaction processing.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with technical sales concepts can be beneficial for assisting customers with product inquiries.
