Qualifications & Duties

  • Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs.
  • Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students, and support the Division's goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation.
  • Possess a Bachelor of Education and valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
  • College Certificate in Catholic Education is considered an asset.
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English in order to teach in French and communicate with parents in English would be an asset.
  • Experience/training in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Experience/training in the use of Google Classroom.
  • Committed to working as a collaborative team member with a vibrant school team.
  • A willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities.
  • Experience with the implementation of Individual Program Plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm.
  • Ability, training and/or experience to accommodate instruction and programming for students with diverse needs.
  • Committed to working within departmental professional learning communities.
