About the Role

TutorCraft is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tutor to help Grade 11 students excel in Math and Physics. If you're passionate about education and enjoy helping students build confidence in STEM subjects, we'd love to hear from you

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for Grade 11 students in Math and Physics

  • Explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner

  • Help students with homework, test preparation, and exam strategies

  • Identify areas where students need improvement and develop customized learning plans

  • Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents

  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Grade 11 Math and Physics curriculum (Ontario curriculum preferred)

  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, reliable, and able to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles

  • Currently enrolled in or completed post-secondary education in Math, Physics, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

  • Available for in-person sessions in Mississauga
