Required Experience and Technical Skills
Siebel Development Skills (40%)

  • 10+ years
    of experience with Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
  • 5+ years
    of experience integrating Siebel with Adobe AEM, J2EE, and similar enterprise applications.
  • 5+ years
    with
    Siebel EIM (Enterprise Integration Manager)
    and
    EAI (Enterprise Application Integration)
    .
  • 3+ years
    working with
    Siebel IP18+
    , focusing on configuration and development.
  • Expertise with
    Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflow, Applets, Views, Screens
    , and Siebel Business Layer objects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Siebel Tools
    , editing
    Web Templates
    , and customizing
    Open UI
    using Siebel-specific classes and methods.
  • Understanding of
    Siebel Open UI Architecture (Physical Model, Presentation Model)
    , OOTB (Out-of-the-Box) structures, and limitations.
  • Experience with
    UI integration
    – embedding external applications into Siebel or exposing Siebel within external platforms.
  • Possession of
    Siebel 8.x or above certification
    is required.

Report Development Skills (35%)

  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using
    Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
    and
    Microsoft Power BI
    .
  • Working knowledge of
    HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript
    for UI and report customization.
  • Familiarity with
    Open UI concepts
    including PM (Presentation Model), PR (Physical Renderer), Manifest Files, and Mapping Files.

Soft Skills (20%)

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to develop and present new ideas and solutions.

Public Sector Experience (5%)

  • Experience with
    Siebel Public Sector CRM modules
    such as Contracts, Lead Management, Partner Portal, Campaign Management, Marketing, Resource Manager, or Public Sector eService is an asset.
  • Experience with
    Grants Management
    is an asset.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience developing
    Internet-ready applications
    and familiarity with
    Rapid Application Development (RAD)
    methodologies.
  • Knowledge of
    Information Management
    principles and best practices.
  • Experience with
    middleware and gateways
    for system integration.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and modify
    installation scripts
    , including encoding, testing, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with
    Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
    and related standards.
  • Experience conducting design walkthroughs and providing post-implementation support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Oracle
    Siebel 8.x or above certification
    (mandatory).
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale Siebel solutions in complex enterprise environments.
