Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items, ensuring excellent food presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
  • Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning toppings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Serve customers at the counter or via takeout orders with professionalism and friendliness
  • Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
  • Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service, especially in pizza or restaurant environments is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Good understanding of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
  • Experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene during all stages of food preparation and service
